We have taken the time to ask Peter our head Performance Mechanic what 3 things he would always do with his performance cars and cars in general to ensure they run at their best and at peak performance.
Tune Your Car After Modifications
Making sure your car gets tuned after any performance modifications will mean that you are able to enjoy the full effects of your modifications. Tuning your car will ensure that your car is taking full advantage of those modifications and upgrades. It will ensure your car is actually utilising its new features efficiently and effectively.
Upgrading Brakes and Suspension
Upgrading your brakes and suspension is so important, as it means that your car will be able to handle its power better. When modifying your car, you want to remember it's not just about how powerful it is, it's about how the car handles that power too. Upgrading your brakes and suspension is a key (and often forgotten) part of that.
Keeping Modifications Neat and Clean
Make sure that any modifications completed are done with pride. You want your car to look as good as it sounds and drives. This includes under the bonnet! The last thing you want is all this effort being put into modifications only to have it look like a bowl of spaghetti! Ensure your Performance Mechanic takes pride in their work.
There are so many things that you can do to ensure your car runs and continues to run like it should. These are just three of Peter's tips when it comes to your performance cars.
What do you think is something you should always do with performance cars?
